Kate Doyle is a nonprofit leader, former special education teacher, and proud mom of a future CPS student who has dedicated her career to the service of others.  After her time spent in the public school classroom, Kate went on to work in corporate social impact and to found KindWork, an award-winning nonprofit bringing tech education to low-income youth. She also serves her community as vice-president of her neighborhood organization. She will bring a parent's passion, an educator's perspective, and a business leader's expertise to the Board of Education, while remaining committed to her progressive values and to elevating the voices of the vibrant District 2 community.

District 2 spans many different wards and neighborhoods. From Montrose Ave. all the way to Howard Street, the district includes parts of Lincoln Square, Albany Park, Andersonville, Edgewater, Rogers Park, and West Ridge. District 2 is home to dozens of CPS schools serving thousands of students & families, and we deserve a responsive, accessible representative who will answer directly to the community.
